Apprenticeship in Project Management

Earlier this year a Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship was successfully launched by Jobwise Training Limited in partnership with the MSC.

A MOODLE Learning Management System was built by the MSC to provide a support library of classroom and online material. Users can access material, try multiple-choice tests or use BigBlueButton , a web conferencing system integrated into MOODLE.  It aids online learning either one-to-one or for groups, providing real-time sharing of audio, video, slides, chat, and screen.

Any organisation on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP) who wishes to offer the Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship and requires support from an APM Accredited Training Provider is invited to contact the MSC for assistance.

The MSC can offer any of the following:

  • Accreditation with the Association for Project Management for the PMQ course.
  • All necessary teaching materials for classroom sessions, blended or distance-learning.
  • Course materials to include the 300-page MSC PMQ Study Guide, 36 video podcasts, multiple-choice tests, copies of slides.
  • Provision of tutors.
  • Presentation of examination workshop for revision and improvement in exam technique.
  • Organisation of APM PMQ examination.
  • Marking of courseworks together with advice for improvement.
  • Online MOODLE learning management system for distance learning that includes Big Blue Button as a conferencing system.
  • Support for apprentice's preparation of the Portfolio of Evidence.
  • Training for the presentation and professional discussion with the assessors.
