APM PMQ Training Courses in Westminster, London

The APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)  is for those wishing to achieve a broad level of project management knowledge sufficient to participate in projects from individual assignments through to large capital projects. PMQ is for anyone who has worked within project management for up to two years, or who has recently taken on project management responsibilities.

The PMQ may be gained via one of three routes - classroom, distance learning or blended learning (a mix of distance and classroom learning).

Currently classroom courses are suspended, so only an online webinar-based course can be offered which excludes the APM examination.  APM are seeking to introduce an online examination which will be adopted as a separate option when it is available.

Those candidates who have a current PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification are given credit by APM for prior learning and take a shortened two-hour examination.

The two essentials needed to pass the examination are:

  • to give much-needed time for study and revision before the examination, and
  • to understand the examiners requirement that the candidate's answers reflect both knowledge AND understanding.
