NLP4PM - making soft skills less hard

NLP4PM - making soft skills less hard

25 Oct 2011

A most interesting presentation at a meeting of the APM Thames Valley branch was given by Dr Peter Parkes on 12th October. He talked from his own experience about the value of using Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in project management.

Much of what was presented is in Peter's book, NLP for Project Managers published earlier this year.  The website at builds on this book and offers follow-up resources, coaching and training. It was set up as a single point of resource and community for those active in the field of project management to develop their skills through NLP.

In the third part of the book there is a most useful discussion of the various techniques in the NLP toolbox that can be used in developing competence in 19 people skills for project management.
