PM Apprenticeships in Manchester

05 Nov 2018

After a successful launch in London of the Level 4 Trailblazer Apprenticeship, our partners, Jobwise Training Limited, are rolling out a similar programme in Manchester.

This Apprenticeship uses the MSC teaching materials for the PMP and includes both online and face-to-face tutor support to supplement the classroom teaching.

There are two main parts to the Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship :

A. Completion of the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)

B. An End Point Assessment (EPA) that takes place at least 12 months after the start of the Apprenticeship and involves:

Submission of a Portfolio of Evidence completed by the apprentice which details the skills, knowledge and behaviours (aligned to the learning areas) they have developed as part of the day-to-day project work undertaken during the apprenticeship. It will cover fifteen of the seventeen available learning areas.

Presentation and Professional Discussion conducted using teleconferencing software. The Presentation will cover five of the fifteen selected learning areas. The purpose of the Professional Discussion is to:

  • discuss and assess the presentation,
  • verify, validate and asses the portfolio of evidence,
  • determine whether the apprentice meet the competency requirements of the EPA.
